Flaming Mendo
This treat is best served in the dark out in the woods or on a beach. You need a lit tiki torch so you can see. Remember it's dark. Find yourself a stick. Almost any stick will do except poison oak. You will also need a bottle of 151 and a bag of marshmallows. Now take a couple of marshmallows and put them on the end of the stick you just found on the ground. Carefully pour the 151 on the marshmallows making sure you catch the spill over in a glass. You don't want to waste the 151 do you? Now while being careful take the stick with the 151 soaked marshmallows and set them a blazing using the tiki torch as starter. Wait till there burnt to the proper degree. Blow the flames out. Be careful! Let them cool a little. Now eat your treats and drink your 151. You're happy! Share with your friends.

History - Rainer Lang and I invented this at Dive Crazy Adventures, Albion while at a going away party for someone we never met. Good friends, good live music, good food all equal good times!

Glacier Mist
Zambuca - 35 - 50% and Vodka
Quality ingredients pay off.

We can thank Dennis Lillis a friend of Bob McConachie for inventing this superb drink. Bob introduced this decious drink to me on a sea kayaking trip up in Glacier Bay, Alaska. A wonderful drink on a Great trip. Thanks Bob and Dennis!

Homemade Kahlua
I can't take credit for inventing this but I can take credit for introducing this special drink to many a sea kayaker on many trips.
Here's what you need to make this yummy drink.

5 cups of water
7 cups of sugar
2 ounces of vanilla
4 ounces of instant coffee of your choice. I usually use Folgers.
1, 1 1/2 liter bottle of cheap vodka
1 large kettle

Pour your water in the kettle and heat till a boil. Add the sugar. Stir till dissolved. Take the pot off the burner. Add the instant coffee and stir till dissolved. Add the vanilla and the entire 1 1/2 bottle of vodka. Stir! Let it cool till it's safe to drink. Smile, relax and have a sip . I like it on the rocks, mixed with half and half or milk and it's great on ice cream.

RUM RUNNER
7/8 oz Blackberry Brandy
7/8 oz Banana Liquer
3/4 oz 151 Rum
5/8 oz Grenadine
1 1/2 oz Lime Juice
You may add ice and mix in a blender if you like.
