Strawbale Project
Lunch Break.
Check out the solar panels toward the back on the left side. The entire project is solar
powered. The home and studio will be off the grid. I've been living off the grid for over 15 years now. The system works great. You can power anything and everything a home on the grid has including well pumps,
refrigerators, computers and stereos. The list goes on and on.

We are done stacking bales for the day. Now we are covering the top row of bales in case we have another day of unexpected rain. The day the bales were delivered we had an unexpected storm
bringing a few inches of rain.
If you look carefully you will see someone on top of the bale wall on the far right. You can see their feet in the gap between the two top bales. They are doing final touch up for the day. You'll notice the
bales in front of the wall were stacked to use as a stair step to work on the upper portion of the wall. The photo above this one shows bale stairs in use. The opening to the left of the bale wall will enclose
a large double door.
